Well-known glass artist Pavel Hlava is one of the pioneers of contemporary glass work in Czech, which is a very famous country for traditional glass.
Tomas Hlavicka is Hlava's son-in-low. He has been doing Hlava's work as Hlava's excellent assistant and is also a new and powerful studio glass artist, and one of his works was awarded honorable prize is the International Glass Competition "VESSELS" in Japan last year.
Hlavicka's talented young daughter, Petra Hlavirckova who is now studying ceramic at University of Applied Arts in Praha.
An exhibition featuring the work of those three artists will be presented for the first time in Japan.
By the way they are all supportive of Japanese culture and are very interested in Japanese traditional culture and scenery. They enjoy such cultural aspects as cooking Japanese "sushi-roll" and drinking Japanese tea in Praha.
This exhibition, which presents together the different styles of three generations of artists, will provide us with a joyful, fresh look at art through their works. I strongly believe that this will indeed be the lasting impression that we will all remember for a very long time.

When we had an exhibition of Pavel Hlava who is one of the masters of Czech glass art last time, it was favorably received.
The gallery Enomoto presents "Pavel Hlava & his family" this time. We should be very grateful if you view this special event.
